Singer Spotlight: Karah Barrist
Our Singer Spotlight series is now here on our website. Dedicated to showcasing our wonderful members in and around Concordia Choral Arts, our Singer Spotlights give each member a shining moment to showcase a bit of themselves to the world. We will periodically be adding Spotlights that premiered prior to our re-launch as time goes on.
Soprano Karah Barrist is an active 10 year veteran of Concordia Choral Arts, seeing us through time and tribulation since 2010. Besides teaching at Wissahickon School District, she is a musician in her heart first. In her own words “[she] has been filling the void of summer with other musical experiences.”
Normally a ray of joy, Karah shows us her more somber side in a piece written about insomnia titled “Nocturnal.” We are proud to present the third movement of the piece written this summer: “Acceptance.”
